5.4.24 - 2 Days Post-Op

Post contains post-surgery photos. My upper torso has become pretty stiff from guarding my lower abdomen when I move, but the surgical pain is minimal. I’ve been skipping doses of acetaminophen or ibuprofen occasionally and feel ok. After a brief trip out to the barn to visit my horse, a hot shower, some magnesium lotion, and gentle shoulder stretches have me feeling a bit better. I was able to sleep on my stomach last night (I HATE sleeping on my back) as long as the pillows were arranged properly. Some light bruising is coming in around the incisions, and the tiniest bit of bleeding from the one in my navel. Still mostly resting today, but I felt well enough to care for the animals in the morning and do some small things on my own.
